What Career GPS Is
Career GPS is ORQILO’s navigation layer: the part of the product concerned with direction rather than documents. A resume tells you how you present today. Career GPS is about where you are going and what stands between you and it.
It is delivered by two features in your workspace — Career Pivot and Career Path. Both read the same career profile the rest of ORQILO runs on, so neither starts by asking you to re-enter your history.

Where You Are
Navigation needs a starting point, and yours already exists. Once you have added a resume, ORQILO holds your skills, experience, education and goals as a single profile. Career GPS reads that rather than a form you fill in again.
The more accurate that profile, the more specific the route. A sparse profile produces general guidance — and ORQILO will tell you it is sparse rather than inventing detail to fill the gap.
03
Career Pivot
Pivot answers a narrower question than most career tools attempt: given what I have actually done, how far is this other direction?
You give it a current role and a target. It compares them against your profile and reports what carries over, what does not, and what you would need to build. It is a comparison, not a recommendation — you decide whether the distance is worth covering.
What you get
- Which parts of your existing experience transfer to the target
- Which skills and experience are missing
- A realistic read on the size of the move
Career Pivot is included in ORQILO Pro.
04
Career Path
Where Pivot compares two points, Path lays out the route between them. It turns a target role into a phased plan built from your profile, so the first step is something you can start this week rather than an abstract list of everything you lack.
The plan is regenerated as your profile changes. Tell Qilo you are aiming somewhere new, or add a skill you have picked up, and the route reflects it — the profile is shared, so the layers stay in step.

- Built from your skills and experience
- Re-generates as your profile changes

What It Will Not Tell You
A satellite navigation system knows the roads. Career GPS does not know the hiring market’s mind, and pretending otherwise would be the most useful-sounding and least honest thing this page could do.
- It does not predict your odds of getting an interview or an offer.
- It does not estimate how many weeks or months a transition will take.
- It does not name companies that will hire you, or promise recruiter interest.
- It does not guarantee a promotion, a salary increase, or a successful switch.
Those numbers are guessable, not knowable, and a confident figure would be worse than none. Where ORQILO cannot measure something, it shows you nothing rather than a plausible number.
06
